Welton “Pop” Moore, Jr. was born on May 29, 1947, in Meridian, MS. He was the son of the late Welton, Sr. and Yvonne Moore.
Welton accepted Christ at an early age and most recently attended Fellowship Missionary Church. He had a servant’s heart and a joyous spirit.

He then went on to get his Associates Degree from Indiana Division of General and Technical Studies (DGTS) of the former IPFW. Pop enjoyed spending time with family, friends, traveling, and enjoying life to the fullest. Many will cherish his ability to never meet a stranger, encouraging words, and pleasant personality. If he wasn’t boasting about his “girls” to all he spoke with, he could be heard speaking about past family stories, times, any and everything and so called “keeping a long story short” or many other catchy phrases known to be said by him.
On Sunday, March 19, 2023, Welton departed this life to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
