Tonya L. Odom-Holley, 49, was born in Chicago, Illinois on Monday, May 18, 1970 at Cook County Hospital to Donna Nichols and Earl McKnight. She was later adopted by Dorothy Lee "Bigmama" Odom with her brother Cean Odom, Sr. She moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana with Bigmama and eventually graduated from Northrop High School and Saint Francis College where she obtained her nursing degree. In her free time, Tonya enjoyed crafts, shopping, coloring, games on her phone, planning family events, cooking (sometimes while she yelled about being the only one cooking), spending time with her grand kids, fishing, and arguing with family.
Tonya is survived by her husband, Leon Holley, Sr., her six children, Krystal Odom, Sanita Porter, Prince Porter, Jr., Ryan McDonald, William Tolbert, Jr., and Frederica Thomas. She has six grandchildren; Quierra Coleman, Josiah Porter, Aysiah Higginbotham, Audrina Higginbotham, Ny'omie Porter, and Na'Mera Porter, her four brothers; Cean Odom, Sr., Charles Phillips, Sr., Keyo Harris and Lawrence Evans, Sr., nephews and nieces; Cean Odom, Jr., Curtis Williams, Charles Phillips, Jr., Dasha Bennett and Charlissa Phillips, her three dogs; King, Rose', and Kane, special friends that were like family; Bootsy Wade, Connie Johnson, Ara Pattin, Naya Evans, Sierra Porter, Katelynn, Smith, Kendra Phillips, Bobby Clark, LaShond Wade, and Shawnetta Ruffin.
