Tonya Latrice Doughty-Leshore

Tonya Latrice Doughty-LeShore, 39, of Fort Wayne, IN gained her wings to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Tonya was born in Tuscaloosa, AL May 16, 1983, to George Miller and Shirley Doughty-Miller.

Tonya committed her life to Jesus Christ at an early age at New Home Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, AL. In 1996 Tonya relocated to Fort Wayne, IN with her family where she spent a great portion of her life. Tonya attended Northrop High School where she played basketball and ran track. In 2002 Tonya met the love of her life Olajuwon LeShore, who she went on to marry.

Tonya was loved by everyone; she had a smile that brightened up everyone’s day. Tonya enjoyed laughing, spending time with family, cooking, having fun, eating Corn “bricks” Starch, reading, watching BINGO, and going to church.

Tonya was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Foster and Leola Doughty, paternal grandparents; Oscar and Evelena Miller, aunts; Cecile Miller, Joann Hargrove, Zalla Even, Katherine Randall, and Cassandra Hall, uncles; Darren Doughty and Foster Doughty.

Tonya’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving husband; Olajuwon Leshore, Sr. of Fort Wayne, IN, sons; Justin Booker, Jemarcus Doughty, Olajuwon LeShore, Jr., and Prince Noah Leshore Doughty. Daughters; Asialani Springer of Dallas, TX, Zemyla Doughty, Caniya Clay and Caleah Clay all of Fort Wayne, IN. Her father; George (Diane) Miller of Fort Wayne, IN, mother; Shirley Doughty-Miller of Fort Wayne, IN, grandmother; Glory Scott of Tuscaloosa, Al, brothers; Rayshun Doughty, George Doughty, Ladarius (Angela) Doughty of Fort Wayne, IN, Daniel Miller of Birmingham, AL, Williams Hinds, Zachariah Miller, Maine Bowens, Tyrus Bowens and Reggie Bowens, James LeShore, and Charlie LeShore all of Fort Wayne, IN. sisters; Myracle Miller, Ka’Shay Hill, Christa Minich, Markisha LeShore, and ShaDonna Cloyd all of Fort Wayne. grandchildren; D’layah Moore, Demarea Martin-Booker, Kemarion Williams, and Amarion Doughty. Stepdad, Billy Hinds, father in-law; Charlie Davis, and mother in-law; Laura (Danny) LeShore-Boykins of Fort Wayne, IN. godbrother; D'Angelo Alford, and godsister; Amber Brewer.
