Timothy Leroy Coats-Bey

Timothy Leroy Coats-Bey transitioned Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the presence of his mother and special friend. Timothy was born to his mother, Angela Kirtz and father, Stacy Coats at Parkview Hospital on Thursday, September 23, 1993. Timothy was a Legend in every since of the word.

Timothy received a certification in Lawn Care and was currently enrolled at Indiana Tech studying business. He had an entrepreneurial spirit. He sold cars, clothes, and accessories, produced videos, and was a well known lyricist.

Timothy was well versed in the law and most considered him to be their personal paralegal. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with his family. Timothy converted to a Moor and practiced their beliefs.

Timothy leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother; Angela (Rodrick) Kirtz, and father Stacy (Angela) Coats, a loving paw paw, Leroy Coats and Sarah Coats of Fort Wayne, Indiana, sisters; Sha'Ronda Shields of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sha'Ron Shields of Indianapolis, Indiana, brothers; Gerald Shields of Columbus, Ohio, Du'Quel Shields of Kokomo, Indiana, Alan and Johnathan Coats both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, special cousin/brother Stacey Coats of Tampa, Florida, very special friend; Lamesha "MeMe" Crterof Fort Wayne, Indiana, special grandmothers; Dianne Tharp of Atlanta, Georgia and Lavetra Early of Fort Wayne, Indiana, along with a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Alphonso Shields, grandmother; Emanuel Powell, sister; Shahalannie Shields, paternal great-great-grandfather; Limuel "Pops" Coats, and great-grandmothers; Vera Coats, Bessie Shields, and Lillian Shields.
