Terry Eugene (Uggie Man) Bratton owner of Preventative Maintenance Services and long-time resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in his home.
Terry was born on March 25, 1957, to George Edward and Lucy Mai Bratton. He graduated from Snider High School in 1975. On July 24, 1976, he welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Antonio Eugene Jones. On March 25, 1994, he married his best friend, Lisa Hochstetler.
Terry served as a devoted elder at Bethlehem Lutheran Church for 28 years. He raised 3 beautiful children that he held close to his heart as well as took in many bonus children throughout the years.
He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who loved sitting on his porch with a cold beer watching his children play. He was known most for his beautiful smile and charismatic personality. He was the glue that fixed everything for everybody. He was a real-life angel who gave everyone the benefit of the doubt.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lucy Mai Bratton, stepfather, Joey Banks, and brother Tommy Edward (Rena) Bratton.
He is survived by his siblings, Deborah, Ricky, Donna, Troy, and Cynthia Bratton, his children, Antonio Eugene (Darnetta) Jones, Shayna Johnson, Lacey (Tijuan) Gates, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 4 Godchildren, and many other bonus children and grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
