Takatina Patryce “Teeke” Bowers passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital; a week shy of her 45th birthday. Takatina was born November 28, 1975 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her unexpected death was the result of a house fire.

Takatina loved to blast her music, read, cook, and collect gym shoes.

Takatina leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of twenty-seven years; Eric Grandberry, Sr., her children; Jalyn “Jay” Bowers, Janyria “Tootie” Grandberry, and Eric “Lil E” Grandberry, Jr., her father; Melvin Jones, Jr., her siblings; Tashia (Alfred) Woods, Taccarra, Melvin, Denzel, and Keyontay Bowers(Joseline Bowers), sisters-in-law; Nicole, Niecy, and Rhonda Grandberry, brother-in-law; Marcus Grandberry, special niece; Amiyah Bowers, two special cousins; Tawanna Rencher and Sierra Poindexter, her loyal dog; Deuce and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, cousins and friends.

Takatina was preceded in death by her mother; Kathy Bowers, biological father; Terry Wimes, daughter; Janyia Grandberry, grandparents; John and Rosa Bowers and Simon and Ora Wimes, and mother-in-law; Wilma Grandberry.
