In Loving Memory of Shirley Mae Jones

Shirley Mae Jones was born on November 2, 1947, in Marion, Alabama, to the late Samuel and Queen E. Jones. On October 25, 2025, surrounded by love and family, Shirley peacefully went home to be with the Lord at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Shirley lived a long, beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and care for others. She had a heart that never stopped giving and a smile that could brighten any room. Family was everything to her—she found joy in being sister, nana to many, cousin, and friend. Her gentle spirit, wisdom, and strength left a lasting mark on everyone blessed to know her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family: Sister: Chandra Jones, Nephews: Welton Jones, and Quinton Jones (Chelsea Roush), Neices: LeAsia Jones (Jamarius James), Cynrinthia James and her precious Nana-babies: Kennedy Roush, Loyalti James, Noeveah James, Alani James, Buddy Mac Jones and Sophia Jones

She will also be lovingly remembered by her special cousins: Jean Jones, Phillis Holman, Marilyn Dobine, and Cathesia Holman, along with a host of other family members and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Shirley’s life was a true reflection of love and devotion. Her kindness, faith, and compassion will continue to live on through her family and the many lives she touched. Though she has gone home, her light will shine in our hearts forever.
