Sheila Marshall Obituary

Sheila Marie Marshall was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 14, 1954, to Odessa Miller and Charles Harden. She departed this earthly life on Friday, January 6, 2023. She attended public school in Fort Wayne and graduated from Central High School. She formed a special bond with all who knew her. She was a loving friend, mother, and grandmother and had such a giving heart. At an early age, Sheila was baptized at Hayden Street COGIC. Sheila served on the Mother Board at Greater Spirit of Love and then at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic. She remained a faithful member of Faith Tabernacle Apostolic as Elect Lady Marshall, until her demise. She also served as a Prayer Warrior at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic. When she was able to, she supported the church’s missions as the scripture says “Whatever your hands find to do, do it with your might”, Ecclesiastes 9:10. She remained a fighter until the end. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Henderson Marshall of Fort Wayne; son, Herbert (Keara) Bullard of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter, Georethia (Carlos) Harden of Fort Wayne; sisters: Ebbie Lee Adams, St. Louis, Joan Taylor, Paula Martin, Bobbie (Obi) Iwobi of Fort Wayne; brother: Pierre Taylor, of Fort Wayne, eight (8) grandchildren, one (1) great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Odessa Miller, her father, Charles Harden; sisters, Carol Ann Moser, Elora S. Carswell; brothers: Theodore Miller, Karl Taylor, Robert Gerald Caruthers, Paul Taylor, Jr.; daughters: Alfreda Harden and Donita Dungy.
