Ruth Ann Howard, 67, was born to the union of Sib and Estella (Hall) Howard on March 6, 1955, in Charleston, Missouri.
Ruth graduated from Bloomington High School in Bloomington, Illinois in 1972 and completed her college education at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois.

She made Fort Wayne her home for the last 12 years. She enjoyed planting her flowers every Spring and Summer. She loved
Her children and grandchildren immensely. She argued daily with her pet dog Sophia Ann. She would not think twice and was always willing to help others in need. She lost a courageous 13 year battle with skin cancer, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life by watching her favorite movies, having her grandson Desmond run her all over town in search of the perfect pots for her flowers. Enjoying having teatime and mature conversations with her grandson, Fazhaun. She enjoyed visits and spending time with her youngest grandson Evan tracking his growth. Her determination and desire to see her children and grandchildren succeed was astounding.
