Robert Lee Williams

Robert Lee Williams was born on April 10, 1953, to the late Charlie and Dorothy Williams.  Robert received his wings on August 1, 2025, with his wife Rena beside him.

He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Jessie White and was a member of Tree of Life.  Robert graduated from Elmhurst High School and then went on to work at International Harvester.

 Robert married Rena Causey on May 13, 1996.  They shared 37 beautiful years together.  Robert's best friend was Alfred Lockett; they were brothers.  He also had a special friend named Michelle Lake and Ramona Davis.  Robert and Rena raised three children like their own: Nyari Kazee, Keyaora Kazee, and Damarea Benamin. 

Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Rena Causey Williams; eight sons, Mike (Vonits) Gatson, Kevin DeShawn Craig, Gabriel Williams, Joel Williams, Emmanuel Williams, Tyrone Davis, Maurice Causey, and Michael Causey; two daughters, Celeste (Timothy) Phillips, and Desiree Phillips; three brothers, Darrell(Annette) Williams, Pastor Jacarra (Aleshia) Williams, and Jerome Williams; two sisters, Doris (Willie) Garret, and Clifforine Starkey; sister-in-law, Kimberly (Donald) Essex.  Robert also leaves behind 42 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dorothy Williams; in-laws, Johnnie and Emma Causey; a son, Roderick Lamar Craig; three sisters, Daisy Cowan, Rosie Walker and Elnora Williams; three brothers, Alfonso Williams, Charles Wilson, Charles (Boo) Williams; five nephews, Kentrell Benson, Darrell Pinkston, Jr., Charles Williams, IV. An Jemarrie (Fatty) Sewell and Jermorris (Shorty) Sewell.
