Robert Anthony Bush, Sr. was born to the late Lester and Mary L. Bush on January 11, 1956, in South Bend, IN. He departed this life on April 20, 2023, at 10:00 pm.
The majority of his life he lived in Fort Wayne, IN along with his late parents and his siblings. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1974. He graduated from Harrison College, Fort Wayne, IN with an Associates of Applied Science in Criminal Justice
Robert was a factory assembly worker for much of his adult life and he worked at various factories in Fort Wayne. He was also proficient as a handyman, a builder and auto repairs. He was an excellent cook and was well-known for his cabbage & collard greens and his cheesecakes. He was fondly nicknamed “Bobby Que” for his unique
“Q-ing” skills and amazing barbeque ribs at family outings.
He was a faithful member of Abundant Love Church Ministries in Fort Wayne, IN. He became an ordained Elder of the Abundant Love Ministry on October 30, 2022, where he served as an associate Elder, a Sunday School teacher and choir member until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mary L. Bush. And three sisters, Mildred Lavonne Bush, Mary Ann Chapman and Rev. Diana Bush-Harris.
Robert was a caring father and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory; two daughters and two sons. Daughter; Monique Bush, Fort Wayne; three grandsons, Brian Jr., Bentley, Braylen Waltz and a granddaughter, Brooklynn Waltz. Daughter; LaShae Bush, Fort Wayne; grandson, Kayden Bush; granddaughter, Sophia Bush. Son; Anthony Bush, Fort Wayne and two granddaughters; Zo’mari and Samira. Son; Terrence Bush.
And his siblings; Ida Marie DePree, Fort Wayne. Supt. Lester A. Bush, Jr., Fort Wayne. Terry L. Bush, Dallas, TX. Bishop Gary L. Bush, Sr., Fort Wayne. Denise Inez (Floyd) Newson, Indianapolis and Darlene Anita Bush, Fort Wayne. Special nieces Londra Dufor and Michelle Mitchell; Special cousins, Bertha Jones and Candace Mack. And a host of: Relatives, Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
