Pearlie Mae Taylor was born in Marion, Alabama, January 12, 1944, to the late Pastor Marvin and Mary Williams.
She accepted Christ at an early age she attended Oakridge temple church of God in Christ and she also attended The Way of Holiness Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was baptized.
At the age of 78 she was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She held several positions of employment throughout her life she was a teacher's aide at Ward elementary school, she worked at Wayne Candy, and she was a cook at Life Care Center of Fort Wayne for many years.
She was united in wedlock to Henry L. Taylor on August 2, 1967, in Trenton, Georgia. The Lord blessed them with 23 years of marriage before Henry was called home to be with the Lord on October 1, 1994. Pearlie loved her family; she was a very caring wife and mother. She loved her Pepsi, tacos, listening to Yolanda Adams, and hearing her favorite scripture Psalms 23.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Mary Williams, and siblings Leroy Williams, Marvin Williams Jr., Laura Githiri, James Williams, Supt. Bennie Williams, Helen Cherry, Granddaughter Asya Moore, and Grandson Xavier Taylor.
Pearlie leaves to cherish her memories children, Cassandra Taylor, and Charles Moore (Angela). Her sister Mattie Williams of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
