Michael Bernard Vaughn

Mr. Michael Bernard “Pops” Vaughn, was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 7, 1955 to the late Mr. Eddie F. Vaughn and Mrs. Mamie L. Ingol-Mason Vaughn as a fraternal twin with his sister, Michelle Bernadette Vaughn-Morton. They both moved the family to Fort Wayne, Indiana to from Chicago, Illinois. Pops attended Fort Wayne public Schools when he was young. He was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps at the early age of “17”. Pops bravely and diligently served in the Marines for approximately two years. Michael worked for and retired from Bright House Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. Michael had a passion for singing and dancing. He was truly the life of the party. He was a loving and caring person who put family first wholeheartedly. He was a father of a total of four children, Lawanda Q. Vaughn, Catatrina A. Sheron, Michael (Precious) Hearns-Vaughn, Jr. he has eleven grandchildren, along with several family members and friends who truly love him, and a special, nephew Ronnie Mason, son-in-law and caregiver, Coron Virges. He was preceded in death by one son, Eric Hearns.
