Mary Louise Grant Moore, 73, peacefully passed away on the morning of April 16, 2025. Born to Elsie and Roger Grant on July 24, 1951, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mary lived by the saying, “If you pray, why worry? And if you worry, why pray?”
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved son, Willis Grant, and her granddaughter, LaJuana M. Dunbar.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was the beloved wife of Clayton Moore and a devoted mother to her three children, Willis, Chalimous, and Lucille, and her stepdaughter, Alisha Robinson. Mary was also a proud grandmother to four grandchildren: Carrington, Patrice, Harmony Grant, and LaJuana M. Dunbar.
Mary dedicated many years of her life to serving at Parkview Hospital, where she eventually retired. Her greatest joys came from spending time with family and friends, watching her favorite television programs, and immersing herself in cooking and reading. A woman of faith, she loved the Lord and treasured every moment spent in the company of her children and loved ones.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
