Markeston Javon Johnson, 33, was born July 11, 1984 and departed this life on Friday, June 25, 2021. He attended Northrop High School and accepted Christ at an early age.

There was never a dull moment when Markeston came around. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, cooking, laughing and dancing. he always brought life to any party.

Markeston leaves to cherish his memory, his mother; Catherine Johnson, father; Lamar A. Anderson, children; Javarion Johnson, J'yonne Johnson, Javion Gamble, and Jayonna Johnson, sisters; Nicole (Ronnie) Johnson, Nashusa Bradley, brothers; Marcus Johnson, Theodore Johnson, Antonio Jett, and Lamar Bradley, grandmother; Dorothy Johnson, grandfather; Leroy (Betty) Johnson, Sr., aunts; Rita (Ernie) Johnson, and Vonetta Woods, uncles Corey Johnson-Bey, Eric Johnson, Leroy Johnson, Jr., Ray, Don, Bruce, and Eddie Anderson, very special person in his life; Linda Marbury, special cousin; Canidance Lee and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Markeston was well loved and will always be remembered.

Markeston was preceded in death by a special friend; Brandon Lamb, grandmother; Catherine Anderson, and uncle; Roscoe Anderson.
