Marcus “Too Easy” Lindell Hairston, 51, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Marcus was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on April 20, 1970 to the late Linda C. Hairston and the late Charles E. Washington. He is survived by Dorothy M. Hairston, his wife of 21 years; his sons; Keion M. Hairston, Ronald M. Lucas III, and Marcalin L. Hairston, granddaughter; May’Anna M. Hairston, Mother-in-law; Ruby L. Little, niece/daughter Shatayah F. Little, brothers; Mayo M. Hairston, Maurice V. Hairston, Jamie T. Hairston, Patrick N. Tinker, Michael D. Little, Shon L. Little (Shlanda), sisters; Gwendolyna Little, Lisa R. Little, and Cheryl D. Tinker, godsons; Stephen L. Scott Jr. (Lisa) and Marlon D. Martin, goddaughter; Patricia B. Tinker-Holiness.
Marcus was a graduate of Northrop High School Class of 1988. He enlisted in the US Army and later received an honorable discharge. Marcus was employed at the Wayne Township Trustee Office from 1992 to 1996. He was employed for 16 years with the City of Fort Wayne, 6 years with Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation, and 10 years with Water Maintenance as a valued employee. As an Entrepreneur, Marcus started his first of many endeavors with Wheels and Deals car lot in 1996.
Marcus lived a full life. His wife and children were his joy. He took pride in being with his family and helping others. He was an honorary member of Cardio Fit and Essential Steps; this title was given to him by his sister Melissa Gates.

Services will be held at the Weisser Park Youth Center 802 Eckart Street. Viewing 11:00am-12:00pm, Memorial 12:00pm-2:00pm. Repass will be held at McMillen Park Community Center 3901 Abbott Street from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
