Marcia Evelyn Ball
Marcia Evelyn Ball (Patten), was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Hallye E. and Herbert E. Patten Sr., on October 7, 1939.
Marcia and Charles were wed in holy matrimony on September 4, 1961.
She was a homemaker and loved bowling in her younger years. After 23 years being of military wife to her husband, Charles. After their retirement from the U.S. Air Force they moved to Kokomo, Indiana. She became known to many in Lincolnwood Townhouses neighborhood as Mrs. Ball with the candy and cookie jars. “If you ask nicely, you can have two cookies and a piece of candy.” For many throughout the years, she was known as Grammy. It her sweet spirit and tender voice that will be missed by many.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles E. Ball, her brother, Herbert E. Patten and
Survived by: Daughter, Kimberly Kay Whitten (Ball), son-in-love, Gilbert Daniel Whitten; Grandson, Love R.F. Deon; Granddaughter-in-love, Carimah Ball, Great grandchildren: Christian, Emmanuel, Cerynity, Cahliel
Preceded in death by: Herbert E. Patten Sr., Hallye E. Patten, Charles E. Ball.
She leaves behind friends: Flora Jean Redmond, Ms. Cathy Raines, daughter Cathy Raines, Carolyn Lilliard and Callie Bates and a host of others who loved and cared for her.
