Lucille (Gary) Collins

Lucille was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 4, 1947 to the late Elijah Gary and Fennie Jenkins. She moved from Birmingham, Alabama to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1983; she confessed Christ and joined The Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Mozell Davis. Her family was her main focus and the time spent having fun with her children and grandchildren brought her much happiness and joy. She touched the lives of many with her smile and giving heart and will be sadly missed by all. On Tuesday, September 22, 2020 she was called to her final rest.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah Gary and Fennie Jenkins, one son; John Collins, Jr., one daughter; Sharon Gary, two sisters; Elizabeth Thomas and Mary Ellis Brown, one brother; Billy Jenkins, and one grandson; KeAndre Gary

Lucille leaves to cherish her memories her sons; John Collins, III and Kirk (Ida) Gary, grandchildren; Monique Gary, Joshua Gary, Charday Gary Kirk Hodge, Trevia Gary, Unika Gary, Zyquan Gary, Adonis Davis, Cherelle White, and a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
