Louis "Junior" Blash, Jr.

Louis “Junior” Blash, Jr. was born October 31, 1956 in Fort Wayne, IN. to the late Rev. Louis and Rosie Blash, Sr. and departed this life Monday, May 4,2020 at Glenbrook Rehabilitation Nursing Home.

Junior aka “Stop Sign” his CB handle, loved talking on the CB. He also was a jack of all trade. There was not anything he did not try to fix or repair. If he could not fix it, he knew someone who could.

He was not a stranger to many. He knew some of everyone.  Whenever he sat outside on the front porch and saw someone he knew, he always would yell aye, aye “hey you.” Then do his funny laugh.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His favorite past time was listening to music, watching his tv shows and cracking jokes. He had just recently learned how to take selfies of himself on the cell phone which he found hilarious.

Over the past several years his health started declining. He was no longer able to get around and do the things he used to. But he did not let that stop him. He would scoot around town or get on the City link bus with his walker aka Chrysler three hundred as some family members would say.

Even though he is no longer with us, he will never be forgotten he will be deeply missed.

Louis leaves to cherish his memory, one sister Florene Prince of Fort Wayne, IN; Uncle Roosevelt (Ethel) Martin of Fort Wayne; Aunt Clara Williams of Detroit, Michigan, Special nieces Katrina (Elton) Snead; Theresa (Terry) Stapleton, Alisa Blash all of Fort Wayne; Best friends Carl Franks of Fort Wayne; Victor Franks of Fort Wayne; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Rev. Louis and Rosie Blash, Sr; sisters Lorene Conwell, Gwendolyn Blash
