Leon Timothy Bennett was born on September 16, 1961, to Willie and Christine
Bennett in Fort Wayne, IN. He departed this life on July 4, 2024, at 3:50 pm while in Hospice care at Parkview Randallia Hospital.
At an early age, Leon was baptized and became a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend James W. Bledsoe. Later in life he would attend various churches throughout the city.
