Lena Elizabeth (Thomas) Lofton

Mrs. Lena Lofton, 100, formerly of Markam, IL.  departed this life on Friday, March 17, 2023,  at Parkview Hospital surrounded by family. Lena has resided in Fort Wayne, IN. the last 10 years. LENA was a proud Centenarian and recognized as a very special woman. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, sewing & designing, going to church, riding in the car, and feeding the ducks at Franke park. Lena was a homemaker and loved being with her family. She was a faithful member of Imani Baptist Temple. Lena leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughter and caregiver Mary Fields of Fort Wayne, IN. Lena was the matriarch of four generations and has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Arrangements are in the hands of Nelson Memorial Gardens Inc.
