LeeRoy Mack Heard, Jr.

On September 16, 1998, God blessed this world with LeeRoy (known to friends as Lee Herbo) Mack Heard Jr. the son of Sharon Rose Gamble (Mother) of Fort Wayne, IN, and LeeRoy Mack Heard Sr. (Father) of Chicago, IL. Then on April 26, 2020, God was ready for LeeRoy to go his official home to be with him. 

LeeRoy attended New Haven High School. He also visited Kingdom Door Christian Worship Center very often with his sisters. LeeRoy was not perfect nor did he claim to be. He knew his mistakes and worked to correct them by turning those mistakes into lessons. He was the glue that kept everyone together. Happy, playful, full of joy, always smiling, and working on a master plan for his next big step in life this is how LeeRoy will always be remembered. LeeRoy loved everyone and he was loved by everyone. 

 LeeRoy's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his mother Sharon Gamble, Grandmother Vera Gamble both of Fort Wayne, IN., four sisters Deltrice Smith, Quinteen Smith, and Catrina Smith all of Fort Wayne, IN, and Al’lena Lovelace of Gray, IN. Along with three stepbrothers Jerome Dowdell, Chasie Dowdell, and Kish Dowdell all of Fort Wayne, IN. As well as six nephews and one niece. He has a host of aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends that will also cherish his memories.  

LeeRoy was preceded in death by his father, LeeRoy Heard Sr., Grandmother Mary Gay Phillips Heard, Grandfather Frederick Curry, along with some aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
