Lawrence Lee Weemes

Lawrence Lee Weemes was born May 07, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was the son of the late James and Etter (Hatch) Weemes. He transitioned from this life on May 04, 2021 at home peacefully with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Etter; father, James Sr.; brothers, James Jr. and Norman Weemes.

Lawrence was united in holy matrimony to Rosalyn Word on March 13, 1970 until his transition, to this union one child was born.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Tabatha (Owens) Cole of Kissimmee, FL, Omakco York of Indianapolis, IN, and only son, Antonio Vaughn of Fort Wayne, IN, five sisters, Etta Datcher King of Fort Wayne, IN, Dorothy (Eugene) Cobb of Harrisburg, PA, Linda(Dellie) Davis of Fort Wayne, IN, Katherine (Willie) Welch, of Myrtle Beach, SC, Marsha Brooks of Fort Wayne, IN, five brothers, Deroy (Fredna), Joe (Lynn), Charles, Ray(Chandra), Frank (Shelia) all of Fort Wayne, IN, thirteen grandchildren, Demetry and Andru Cole of Kissimmee FL, Monasha Cato, Justice Cornelius, Promise Fomby, Faith Hazley all of Indianapolis, IN, Angelo Popoola of Denton, TX,  Antonaja, Antonia, Milaja, MiQyland Vaughn, Antoniya, and Niyanah Belcher,all of Fort Wayne, IN, and eight great-grandchildren along with a host of  nieces, nephews cousins, other relatives and friends.
