Larry Lucas Obituary

Mr. Larry Lucas (NewJack)
The Most High God of Israel called Lucas by his original Hebrew name and his spirit now
rests with our Lord and Savior. Lucas passed away peacefully and home with his Wife of 17
years by his side and he will be missed. Larry labored in the factory industry as a forklift driver,
however; his love and passion was in landscaping and watching television. Larry repented of his
sins, changed his way of life and became a new creature in the eyes of the Most High. Larry
was a captivating person and would hold a conversation with anyone rather young or old. His
smile was bright and the beauty of his soul sought through his eyes. Larry lived in this world but
not of this world for his knowledge of the Most High was endless. He tried daily to keep the
laws, statues and commandments of the Lord. His faith in the Most High gave him the strength
to live in a body that was dissolving. Yet, he still gave the Lord his all.
Larry leaves to treasure his memory his Wife Mrs. Reginia Lucas, his daughters Mrs.
Dawana Lucas Miller and Lanell Beaty. Sister: Linda Clabin, Gloria Weatherspoon (preceded in
death) Son in Law: Jerry Miller. Grandchildren: LaDarron Beaty, Rikiya Lucas, DaNila Beaty and
Lil Jerry Miller. Great Grandchild: RaShon Beaty. Step child: Donnell Thomas and Jatoya
Thomas. Close Friend: Ronald Lee Coleman, Benny Powell, Veronica Isom and Walter (Boo-
Boo) Johnson. Preceded in death by Lucas Mother: Eleanor Johnson Father: John Lucas
Grandparents: Viola and Jame Page.
Larry was a strong, brave and fearless man. He wore many hats in his life: Husband,
Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. He was an influence to people who came in contact
with him. His presence will be missed. His final words of wisdom is for us to love the Lord with
all our might and keep the laws, statues and commandments of the Most High God of Israel.
