Lanja had a quiet spirit and was very kind. She had such a beautiful heart. She loved the Lord and spent so much time reading His word staying in relationship with Him.
When she had time, you’d see her heading to the library or a coffee shop with a book bag full of books. Or maybe she’d be headed to see the latest movie that had just come out.
She loved Korean Dramas; falling down that rabbit hole, (LOL), watching one right after the other, analyzing scenes as she watched.
And music! When she heard a song she really liked, she’d get into it even if she didn’t know the words. (LOL) But most of all she loved her children, Ian and Haley. She worked hard to give them what they needed. She was a great mother.
Lanja was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence Sanders, and Clarence and Pauline Russell an aunt, many uncles, nieces, and cousins.
She is survived by one son, Ian Sanders of Springfield, Oh, and one daughter, Haley Sanders-Turner of Westlake, Oh, mother Clarice Sanders of Pittsburgh, Pa., step-father Charles Blair of Ft. Wayne, In, brothers Cleavon (Jill) Blair, Pittsburgh, Pa., Charlie (Marsha) Reese, Jr., Richard(Christina) Reese, Walter (Tamona) Reese, Terry (Jean) Reese, and Donlaray Reese, all of Ft. Wayne, In., sisters, Nedrena Reese of Dallas, Tx, Vnemina (Omar)Reese Cooper, and Jana Reese of Ft. Wayne, In, and a special niece, Evan Miller-Blair of Pittsburgh, Pa. Lanja has so many aunts, uncles, and cousins that loved her, far too many to list.
We know that this isn’t a “goodbye”, but rather an “until later”. We know that she’s in heaven preparing for the day we’ll all be together again. We love you and miss you.
