Kenneth Scott Broddie, was born on March 29, 1959, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Norma Jean Woods and Joe Drinks on Thursday, April 6, 2023, Kenny attended Northside high school and worked at Halls restaurant as a dishwasher and busboy. Kenny loved spending time at the racetracks with his friends.
He also loved to roller skate at the Crease Skating Rink back in the day, he enjoyed playing music and walking.
Kenny would walk anywhere in town. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Broddie, parents, Norma Woods and Joe Drinks, brother Reggie Walker, his sister, Cheryl Woods, uncle Joe Bouey, two nephews, Jeremy Lyons, and Justin Woods, and one niece, Eliza Woods.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two aunts, his half-sisters, Mary Lois Springer and Cornelia Grant, a sister, Deena Walker,
a brother Jack Woods, and a host of family and friends. Kenny‘s laughter will be missed. Kenny was a person that loved his family and his Godmother, Gloria. He loved watching basketball games and motorcycle and drag races on T.V. all the time. Kenny loved helping people and would do anything for anybody. He really enjoyed spending time with his Godbrother, Kevin Craig; just riding around and going several places together.
Kenny loved music and dancing. He would always talk about the “Eastside” where he was raised. He looked forward to going to church for bible study and most Sundays, he loved sitting on the porch with his best friends; Mary Ann and Lou, talking about life. He would go and cut his mother’s grass when she would come to get him whenever it needed it.
I am going to miss you Godson, and Shawn, Kevin Craig, and Preston Craig, Sr. You were their brother.
