Kathy Marie Bowers 62 passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 26, 2020 at her home. She was born on August 26, 1957. Kathy enjoyed cooking, talking on the phone, spending time with her family, and eating seafood. Kathy was a University of Saint Francis graduate. She had a passion for helping victims of domestic violence. Kathy is survived by her children Takatina Bowers (Eric Grandberry), Tashia (Alfred) Woods, Taccarra Bowers, Melvin Bowers, Denzel Bowers, and Keyontay Bowers (Joseline Medina). Her siblings Charlie Hayes, Cheryl Knox- Bowers, Ira Bowers, Lisa Wade, Kerry Bowers, John Bowers III. Grandchildren James Johnson III, Jayahn Johnson, Jevaeh Johnson, Jayln Bowers, Janyria Grandberry, Eric Grandberry Jr, Amiyah Bowers, Josiah Bowers, Tioun Bowers, Tayshaun Bowers, Tiara Bowers, Nevaeh Bowers, Da' monie Bowers, Bacarri Watson-Bowers, and Broderick Bowers. Great Grandchildren Jade and Jayahn Johnson Jr. Kathy was proceeded in death by her parents John Bowers Jr and Rosa Bowers (Nesbitt), sister Kimberly Bowers, granddaughter Janyia Grandberry, and nephew Robert Thompson.
