Kamari Daquan Taylor was born in Fort Wayne, IN on November 19, 2001 to Shayna Johnson and Damon Taylor. Kamari was baptized in 2002 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Kamari attended Wayne High School and graduated with the class of 2020.
Kamari was loved by so many young and old. His family was the center of his life and his village, he enjoyed being with family and friends, he enjoyed making everyone laugh with his smooth and laid back humor. Kamari had a unique style about him and he loved expressing that in getting dressed, and when he showed up he was sure to catch your attention,
Kamari departed this life on April 13, 2025 at the age of 23. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Shayna Johnson, father, Damon Taylor, sisters, Tashayla, Adayah, and Amani of Fort Wayne, Elena Keller-Taylor of New York, brothers, Rashaad, Jason, and Davon of Fort Wayne, aunt, Lacey (Tijuan) Gates of Fort Wayne, grandmothers, Lisa Bratton and Debra Taylor both of Fort Wayne, grandfather, Alderay Link of Fort Wayne, Bonus mom, Chammie Williams, bonus sisters, Shaneesha, Shantajah, Shatyra, Treshur, and Teresa, nieces, nephews, special friend, Samia, and many family and friends.
Kamari was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mary Hochstetler and Grand father, Terry Bratton both of Fort Wayne.
