Julius C. Parish (Parrish) was born August 2, 1957 and accepted his heavenly reward on February 25, 2021. Julius “Cee” was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Lucious and Susan M. Parish.
Julius was a loving husband to Toni Parish and a “one of a kind” father to Julius C. Parish Jr. as well as six step children; Regenia (Edward) Frison-Jones, Joe Frison, Teresa Frison, Shameka Frison, Cleophus Frison and Eulunda Frison.
Julius had a strong work ethic. He retired from Lutheran Hospital after 20+ years of service. He was a “Faithful” member of New Zion Tabernacle. He was also a sports fanatic and enjoyed IU Basketball. He was the BEST cook ever. If you came to his house, you had a plate. He enjoyed listening to music, especially Michael Jackson. Julius loved to dress and accessorize. He loved to dance and have fun. He joked a lot and was an all-around fun-loving guy!
Julius was loved and adored by many, especially his siblings; David (Martha) Parrish, Emerson Parrish, Ned Parrish, and Susie Harris all of Fort Wayne, IN, Randolph (Debra) Parrish of Baltimore, MD, Gregory Parrish of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Thomas and Pauline (Kevin) Wright of Jacksonville, NC, Sherry Wesley of Cleveland, OH and “special” brother-in-law Johnny Boyd of Fort Wayne, IN. As well as host of grandkids, great-grand kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Julius was preceded in death by his father Lucious, mother Susie, sister Louise Boyd and brothers Paul Parrish, Johnny Townes, and Luke Townes.
