Julia Yvonne (Williams) Bryant

Julia Yvonne Bryant was born on February 28, 1951, in Lexington, KY to the late Nathan and Wilhelmenia Williams. As a young child, her family relocated to Fort Wayne, IN.

Julia graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne, IN. She attended Jerusalem Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Samuel Walker. At Jerusalem, she was a proud member of the Ebony Voices Choir. Julia retired from Lincoln Life Insurance Company. Before her final retirement, she was gainfully employed with New Generation Management Company as a Property Manager.

Julia peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Marcos Demon Preston Johnson (Fort Wayne, IN); five grandchildren; Dominic Johnson (Atlanta, GA); Kiera Lee (Houston, TX); Leroy Paige IV, Jocquavius Johnson, and  Julian Johnson of Fort Wayne, IN; and four great-grandchildren; two brothers; Michael Wesley Williams (Paulette) of Fort Wayne, IN, Miles Nelson Williams of Versailles, KY, and one special brother, David Jordan (Toni King) of Fort Wayne, IN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Julia was preceded in death by her son, Leroy Page III, one sister, Darlene Smith, and three brothers, Charles Lamont Williams Sr (Valerie), Nathan Henry Williams Jr (Beverly), and Lance Morgan Williams Sr; and one niece, Tanisha Williams.
