Johnny Williams Obituary

Johnny Williams, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on June 21, 1953, to Elijah Williams and Minnie Johnson, Johnny was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne and a proud graduate of Central High School.

Following graduation, Johnny answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He served with honor and dedication, embodying the values of courage, discipline, and loyalty. His time in the military shaped his character and deepened his commitment to service and community.

After completing his military service, Johnny worked for many years at Fort Wayne Foundry, where he eventually retired. Known for his kind spirit and infectious laughter, Johnny was a fun-loving man who brought joy to everyone he met. To know Johnny was to love Johnny; he truly knew no stranger and had a heart as big as the world.

He leaves to cherish his memory: sisters, Shirley (Donald) Lee and Carolyn Williams; brothers, Marvin (Dartanya) Johnson and Ronnie (Nicole) Johnson of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Johnny also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Williams and Minnie Johnson; brothers, Ernest Williams and Terry Johnson; and sisters, Shirley Brown, JoAnne Book, Dorothy Rogan, and Diane Johnson.
