John Henry Thomas

John Henry Thomas passed away in his home on March 31, 2025, at 4:18 a.m. 

John worked for City Link (PTC) for 30 years, Brinks for over 10 years, and Kelly Car Dealership for 5 years.  John also served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force proudly with the last Rank of Master Sergeant (E-8) Drill Sergeant/Instructor.

John was a proud Christian; he and his wife Ermen attended Abundant Love Church under Bishop Gary Bush, Sr., for 32 years.

He leaves to mourn, a wife, Ermen G. Thomas; three sons, John D. Thomas, Richard (Ravin) Thomas, Eric (Valerie) Thomas, Sr.; five daughters, Denise (Michael) Warnsley, Vickie (Marcus) Moore, Yvonne (Derrick) Smith, Katt (Natt) Crawford and Julia Braddshaw; two sisters, Mary Jennings and Doris Rhymes; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

 John Henry Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, William (Flossie) Thomas and Willie-Kate King; brothers, Frank Thomas and Will Boykin; sisters, Jerlean Tymon, Bernice Farrington, and Luvenia Bailey; daughters, Kim R. Ware and Rachel Stroh.
