John Taylor

John Taylor, 66, received God's grace on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center with many of his loved ones at his bedside.

 John “Wayne” Taylor was born January 2, 1957, to Pearlie and Solomon Taylor in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

John attended Central High School. John was a hard-working man. He retired from Fort Wayne International Airport after 32 yrs. John loved listening to music and playing video games.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Pearlie and Solomon Taylor, and his sister, Carrie Taylor.

John leaves to cherish his memory, Alice Cain, his life-long companion of 46 yrs., his children, Lanita “Granny” Cain, Dartanyon “Head” Cain, and Tasha “Boog” Cain, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Service will be Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Memorial Gardens, Inc.
