John Duane Thomas

John Duane Thomas was born September 27, 1955 in Muncie, Indiana at Ball Hospital to the late John Henry and the late Madelean Thomas.

On June 15, 2025 John departed this life surrounded by his brother and sisters at 3:25 PM at Lutheran Hospital. John attended Wayne High School, then moving to Muncie, Indiana for several years before returning back to Fort Wayne. John worked at Hall's Gas House and Byron Health Center for many years.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Thomas and Madelean Thomas; sisters, Kim R. Ware, and Rachel Stroh.

John leaves to cherish his memory, his step-mother, Ermen Thomas; sisters, Denise (Michael) Warnsley, Vickie ( Marcus) Moore, Yvonne (Derrick) Smith; step-sisters, Kathy (Nat) Crawford, Julia Bradshaw; brothers, Richard (Ravin) Thomas, Eric (Valerie) Thomas, and a host of nieces and nephews.
