Celebration of life

Joe Buchanan Jr. was born September 21, 1953, to Joe Buchanan, Sr. and Martha W. Buchanan in Robinsonville, Mississippi. The family migrated to Chicago, Illinois. Joe became a licensed barber. He also believed in staying fit and was heavily into martial arts. He cherished his family as he was called home on August 25, 2026. He had attended Unity Christian Fellowship Church and had accepted Christ in his life. He leaves behind a brother, Brian Buchanan, and loyal and honorable brother-in-law, Marcellus Graham, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Buchanan, Sr. and Martha W. Buchanan; his brother, Eric Buchanan; his sisters, Ruby Sims, Inez Loffman, Martha White, Mary Locke, and Cheryl Price. He is home now, with the rest of his family, as they all are in their Heavenly Father's hands.
