Jo'Vonna Renee Finelli Britt was born May 13, 1997 to Annetta Britt & Joseph Hughes in Gary, Indiana. She later relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana and to Fort Worth, Texas with her family. She attended Wayne High School in Fort Wayne where she studied and grew relationships. She accepted Christ at a young age and kept her bible close since a situation and been attached to her. She followed the word to help guide her in times when she wasn't sure until she figured things out that led her to opportunities that would not only put her into a good position, but; also for her family.
Jo'Vonna Renee Britt has left her only son Juelz Koren Dior Barker, who recently turned 4 years old on December 10, 2023. Juelz is smart, strong, determined, adventurous, shy, but fearless, strong, loving, clingy, energetic, spoiled, rare, but full of personality he is already like his mother. Not only was she his mother, but his best friend, a partner along her journey, his healer and protector.

Family that has passed. Her grandparents, Jean Britt & William Britt. She also has on her father side of family...
She had great passion for braiding hair. She started doing hair at a young age and grew to love making others feel beautiful, in due time she perfected her craft over the years and increased her clientele in Fort Wayne and in a short period of time in Texas where she would stop into Salon's or barbershops fearlessly exchanging business information that later grew her business. She went from house calls, to turning her own home into a salon, and to working in several salon shops & barbershops. She was known for her style of braiding and grew and taught herself how to do hair in other techniques other than braiding, she also installed hair and other styling. She was a known, professional, firm business woman that stood on how she wanted her business and what she wanted to expand it to. She recently moved to Texas back in August to pursue her career and better hers & her son’s life also bringing along her younger sister Joni to better her life as well. She knew the responsibility that it came with, but knew she was strong willed and determined to surpass her goals and help along her journey. She was a Big Sister, Role Model, Mother and Best friend to those around her. She not only had a passion for hair for improving and perfecting her craft but being a Top Braider in Fort Wayne and in a short time was gaining clientele in Texas only being there since August. Jo'Vonna was not only known for doing hair, but also for her cooking. Those close to her know how she throws down in the kitchen, like your grandmother on Thanksgiving. She also perfected her craft in cooking and by the time of her perfection everyone wanted and determined a plate. She was known for her dinners that she cooked from her soul while she was in a loving & happy state where she understood energy when you cook with love, that's the only way her food would come out right.
Jo' Vonna had plans bigger than you and I could imagine to not only continue her career with owning a Salon, but cooking, making dinners, to having a food truck, to owning her own land and building a big house or own community for her family and close friends to live in together. She had many plans and dreams she wanted to reach and didn't want nothing more than to bring her family along her journey to be better and live better. She took pride in and cherished the relationships she grew and came across.
Jo' Vonna lived fully up to her zodiac sign as a Taurus and didn't back down from and feared none. When she spoke, you heard and listened, when she acted on anything, just know she had good reason and stood 10 toes on what she believed, when she laughed, she was so silly, funny, blunt, and full of personality. Jo'Vonna was the glue to our Family making sure we came together on holidays, did activities with the kids together, cooking together, bringing outsiders in to make them feel a part of the family we grew since moving to Fort Wayne and her moving to Texas. Jo'Vonna will be remembered as a Beautiful, Natural, Blunt, Strong willed, Funny, Rare, Comforting, Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Best-Friend, & Role Model
