Jerry Whitlow was born on November 3, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Raymond Whitlow and Arlene (Whitlow) Hairston. Jerry accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized by the late Reverend James Bledsoe.
Jerry graduated from South Side High School in 1974. Jerry worked many years doing landscaping, car auctions, and many other odd jobs. Jerry also enjoyed, in his younger years, playing in the band they called “Society” with his special friends.
Jerry leaves to cherish in his loving memory; his daughter, Monique King, son, Carlos Stallings, sisters, Gwen (Johnnie) Leshore, Alice McKnight, brother, Michael Whitlow, granddaughter, Alisha King, and seven grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Earnestine.
Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene, father, Raymond, and step-father, Irvin Hairston, Sr., son, Marquet Maydwell, three brothers, Willie, David, and Terry all of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
