Javion Grandberry was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Nichole Bellinger and Charles Fomby.  He gained his wings on December 29, 2023 in Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Jay as we lovingly called him, will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He was the second oldest of 5 children, He graduated from Wayne High School in 2016. He loved sports, playing basketball, and watching his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs.  He loved spending time with his family and younger siblings.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mose and Wilma Grandberry, and his grandfather Charley Massey.

Jay leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and step-father, Kevin and Nichole Bellinger, his brothers, Javaris and Jeremiah, his sisters Jalaya and Ja’Veyah, and Areal Hughs, grandmother Becky Fomby, and significant other, Krystle Ackles.

To my son:  I’ll miss you always and forever. You were my big baby always so laid back with not a mean bone in your body. I’m going to miss you saying “mudda, what you cook” because you didn’t play about your food not one bit. I’m going to miss you my big chocolate baby. I love you Jay.
