Janice Denise (Anderson) Maston

Janice Maston was born November 26, 1961 to Hattie Norfleet and the late Willie Anderson in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Wayne High School.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Samuel Walker. Janice worked for Lutheran Hospital for many years before moving to St. Louis, MO. Where she worked at Cardinal Glennon Children’s hospital and Crowne Plaza hotel.  She lived in St. Louis for many years before returning to Fort Wayne, IN in 2013. She moved home to help take care of her mother and brother. When she moved to Fort Wayne, she was employed by LEL Home Services . She was taking care of her brother Willie Anderson  which she took great pride in.

She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 26th at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Janice leaves to cherish her memory, her one and only son Kevin (Shalonne) Maston Jr., four grandchildren MaKaila, Nijah, Kensey, and Kevin Maston, III; her mother Hattie (William) Norfleet; one brother, Willie”Bodee”Anderson; two sisters Doris (John) Williams, Mary Dennis all of Fort Wayne, Indiana, special nieces LaShanda Gates, LaWanda Vaughn, LaTonya Petrie-Porter, Roshanda Thatcher, and LaChristia Buford, two good friends Mary White and Tay Shaw, her God son Tayden Jackson whom she adored and  a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Kevin Maston Sr., father, Willie Anderson, three sisters, Kimberly Anderson, Linda Petrie, and Judith Boyd.
