Jada Louvenia (Bryant) Tolbert

Jada Louvenia Bryant-Tolbert was born September 30, 1962, to her parents Jessie Deane Sanders and Earl Bryant in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She departed this life on August 24, 2025.  She was a graduate of South Side High School and was an alumnus of Trine University and Indiana Tech where she held master’s degrees. She retired from Veteran’s Administration in October 2023.

Like her smile, Jada was a bright light to everyone who knew her.  She never met a stranger.  She loved life and loved to help those who were in need.  Although, life took her on many trials and tribulations, she persevered to the plan for which GOD had for her. Jada was a fighter by nature, and she fought to the very end. 

Jada accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age.  She later became a deaconess at Christ Church of Faith. Jada was a prime example of a great wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She never met or treated anyone as a stranger.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed shopping, cooking, cleaning or watching her Baltimore Ravens and The Lion King!

Jada leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Rafael, children Tia, Jaunee, David (Trinel), Jamarcus, Pamela all of Fort Wayne, and Rafael Jr, Tajuan of Atlanta Ga.  Her mother, Jessie Deane, brothers Wesley, Clarence and Anthony; and her sister Kristá Melyssa all of Fort Wayne and Juanita Reneé Washington of Sterling, VA.  Grandchildren, DéiSha, ZyAirah, DaVonna, Jada (Jaythen), Tiana, DaNiya, Sincere, Ivey, Kyndal, Trinity, Price, Kamah, Belinda, Aryanna, Janevia, Adrian, and DeShane.  Great grandchildren, Neveah, Nevada, Aámeir, and Aáminah. Godmother Sandra White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Jada was preceded in death by her father Earl Bryant, brother Earl Sir’Hara, and grandson DaHiem DaMan.
