Gregory Almartino Hill

Gregory A. Hill, 69, was born in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday, December 2, 1962, To Olivia Hatch. Greg graduated from Detroit Public Schools.

Greg was a very loving and caring father, brother, and uncle who constantly sought his family's needs and was always available to help his family. He was very family oriented. He loved to dance and he loved to enjoy life his way. Greg was a very hard worker. He loved to laugh and joke and was known for his signature dance, "The Pjoe." Greg was affectionately called "Pjoe Gristle Bone," "Big Daddy Wall," and "The Greatest." He was always ready to spend time with his grandson. He was always happiest when he saw his grandson's smile which brightened his day. Greg didn't need a reason to celebrate life, he lived every day like it was his birthday or a holiday.

Greg leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Shaniyah Starks, son; Trevor Essex, grandson; Isaiahs Starks, sisters; Tameka (Allen) Starks, and Tanya Hatch, and a brother; John Hill, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

He will always hold a special place in our hearts. 

Greg was preceded in death by his mother; Olivia Hatch, his grandmother; Algene HAtch, and his uncle; Jeff Hatch.
