Gordon Ivory Obituary

Gordon Hathway Ivory, born May 7, 1957, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026. He was the beloved son of Pete Ivory and Henrietta Henry, both of whom preceded him in death.

Gordon was a proud graduate of Southside High School in Fort Wayne, Class of 1976. He dedicated many years of service to International Harvester, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

A devoted father, grandfather, and friend, Gordon was cherished by all who knew him. He lived life with enthusiasm and warmth, never meeting a stranger and often serving as the heart of every gathering. His vibrant personality and generous spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Gordon had a deep passion for classic cars. Whether collecting, buying, and selling, or simply enjoying a drive, his love for automobiles was a defining part of his life.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Nakia Campbell ( Jammie Capers) of New Haven, Indiana, and Taylor J. Ivory of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his bonus children, William Campbell Sr, Kenisha Fritz, Alfred Burns, Tracey Campbell, and Deb Campbell; three grandchildren: Mariah Campbell, Jammie Campbell and Nakia Capers; one great-grandchild: Kehlani Campbell and a host of extended family members and dear friends, including the Burns family, Ochoa family and the Casiano family.
