Glenn Dexter Henry

Glenn D. Henry was born July 15, 1961 and accepted his heavenly reward on February 22, 2021.  Glenn was born in Alabama to the late Francess Henry Chandler and Jay Crawford. 

Glenn was the most loving husband to Beverly and a "one of a kind" father to: Toyin Henry (Cinti, Oh), Monique Henry (Cinti, Oh), Glenn Henry, II (Fort Wayne, In), Princess Henry (Fort Wayne, In ) & Diamond Henry (Fort Wayne, In)

This man could do "no" wrong in his children's eyes.

Glenn had a strong work ethic and it was proven after putting in over 37 years with one company, General Motors. He loved attending and worshiping at The Chapel on Sundays when his schedule permitted. 

Glenn loved watching his favorite teams play and even more so hearing Stephen A. Smith commentate about them on the show, First Take. He was a great cook, best griller and lawn care person around. He enjoyed listening to music, he was a dynamic skater, loved to travel, and he especially loved spending time with his wife and children.

He loved to have fun, would give you the shirt off of his back and just an "all around fun loving guy". This man had the patience of Job, especially when accompanying his wife shopping. (LOL) Glenn was also well known for his stylish dressing, and the kid always sported a lid. (hat)

Glenn was loved and adored by many, especially by his wife of 29 years.  They took on the world like, Bonnie & Clyde, always having each other's back. Their blind date over 30 years ago turned into , "A Love That Would Last Forever"

Glenn leaves to cherish his memory,  his wife Beverly Henry, his children; Toyin Henry, Monique Henry, Glenn Henry, II, Princess Henry, and Diamond Henry, siblings; Andre Henry (Cinti, Oh), Shawn (Cindy) Chandler (Cinti, Oh), Tyana Chandler (Cinti, Oh), Gail Chandler (Cinti, Oh), Alfreeda Skipper (Alabama), Michelle Crawford (North Carolina), brother in law, Michael Briggins (Cinti, Oh), sister in law, Stefanie Briggins (Cinti, Oh) & Charmisha Chandler (Dayton, Oh) as well as grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.

Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Jay Crawford, mother, Francess Henry Chandler, brothers, Morgan (Gordy) Chandler & Tyquan Chandler., Joyce J Moore & father-in-law, Harry Briggins & Jesse Moore.
