Eugene Norris departed this life May 4, 2022. A native of Fort Wayne, Gene, as he was affectionately known, was surrounded by his parents and a large extended family. Eugene loved barbecuing, fishing, and watching old cowboy movies. His smile and his spirit will be missed by all who survive him.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Eluteria Norris; his parents, Eugene Norris Sr., and Martha Jane Wilson; sisters Angel Norris-Mcclure, Claudette Kelsaw, Joellen Billingsley, Nikonya Carlisle-Williams; brothers Clyde Norris and Damein Carlisle; his children also survive him: Shonda Bartley, Marc Shuler, Mannuel Sparks, Genessa Blauvelt, Ceighen Sparks, and Eugene Norris III. He also leaves behind his niece, Gia (Norris) Parker. In addition, Eugene is survived by 20 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
