Elizabeth Ann (Hendrix) Carpenter

Elizabeth Ann Carpenter (Hendrix) affectionately called "Lizz" was born Oct 1, 1959, to Willie Mae Brown and Junior Hendrix in Saginaw,  Michigan.
She departed this life peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Celebrate Senior Living Nursing Home.
Lizz attended Grade school at Potter Elementary, Arthur Eddy Junior High Graduating from Saginaw High School in 1977
Lizz dedicated her life to sharing and receiving  Love, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding as well as her favored dish "Hot Tamales".
Elizabeth was united in matrimony to Michael Bernard Carpenter Sr. in 1987 and in sickness and in health til death do us part, they were married for 31 years. 
Lizz loved her family and made sure the love was shown through her cooking and ability to make you smile and wonder if she had heard what she shared with you many times before she said it...Lizz was a very shrewd and witty woman. Quick draw!

Elizabeth worked for the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center for 10 yrs.
She enjoyed playing bingo, reading,  traveling with her Husband, shopping, listening to music, cleaning and cooking.
She was most proud of her family and knew she was loved and cared for.
Lizz was a survivor of many trials and tribulations like all of us and, through it all, she would say;  learn from me what you should do and what you shouldn't do and how you should be and how you shouldn't.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her Brothers, Leroy Brown and Walter Lee Hendrix
Her Mother, Willie Mae Brown, and Father Junior Hendrix
Her Daughters, Taryn Lavonne Carpenter and Miranda Bernice Carpenter, and Her Grandson, Tarvarus Bernard and
Her Husband Michael Bernard Carpenter Sr
Elizabeth leaves many memories that will be cherished by her sons Michael Bernard Carpenter Jr and Travis Hendrix (Markatollous EL), (Grandchildren); Michaela, Jeremiah, Josiah, Mi'Lisa, Li'ana, Nehemiah and Braylen
(Brother) Robert Hendrix, 
and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Relatives.
