Elaine (LA) Wilson, 68, was born August 15, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee. Elaine loved people and knew no strangers; she enjoyed living life to its fullest and serving others. On June 28, 2020, surrounded by her beloved family, Elaine’s assignment on this earth had come to an end.
Elaine was the daughter of Rev. Lee Wilson and Pinkie Wilson. Her father preceded her in death. Left to honor Elaine is her mother, Pinkie Wilson; Elaine was a shining star, for her children: Tawanda Wilson- Brown, Quantear Wilson, Dr. Katia Wilson, and Marquet Regel Wilson, they will continue to live out her legacy in all their endeavors.
As the stars miss the sun in the morning sky, her 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren will forever miss her unconditional love.
In addition to her children and her mother, Elaine’s siblings: Euell Wilson, Virginia Wilson, Jernice (Larry) Watson, and Vernice (Elton) Street all of Fort Wayne Indiana, continue to treasure the time they had with her.
Besides her father, Elaine was preceded in death by her grandson Tylan Lee, sister, Rosemary Jones, and her brother William “Billy” Wilson.
Elaine also leaves to cherish her memory a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember the love and joy she brought to them.
