Dominique Latrese Gaston

Dominique Latrese Gaston was born on October 12, 1986, one minute after her twin sister, Demitra Denise Gaston in Fort Wayne, IN  at Parkview Memorial Hospital to Sheritta Lynn Gaston and Detrick Javon Wade.  Dominique accepted Christ at an early age.  She received her final call and transition from life to eternity on July 8, 2021.  
Dominique attended Northcrest Elementary School, Geyer Middle School, and graduated early from Southside High School in 2005.  She attended college at Concorde Career College in Dallas, TX, where she received her associates degree in Medical Assistant and Billing & Coding...

Dominique was blessed with two children, Damarion Javon Rogan and Damya Jashae' Rogan.  She loved teaching them to cook, spending time cracking jokes, watching movies, taking them to their favorite spot (Dairy Queen), and lovingly yelling at them from time to time.  She was a great friend who they could trust and talk to about anything. 
Dominique also loved her family.  She loved to cook, clean, babysit, and take care of others.  Dominique had a big heart and displayed compassion for strangers as well as people she held close.  She was selfless!!!  Dominique was very protective of all of her siblings.  She did not care if they were wrong or right, she still would protect them at all costs.  Her love was so deep that people did not understand it.  
Dominique was the life of "EVERYBODY'S" party.  She was loud, energetic, and talked really fast when she got excited.   Dominique loved to dance!  Per her twin, "She can dance better than anybody!!"  Per her baby sister, Destiny "She was the GOAT!!!"    
Dominique leaves to cherish her memories with her mothers, Sheritta Lynn Gaston and Konswayla Mashae’ Barnes (Irving, TX); her fathers, Detrick Javon Wade (Michigan City, IN), Larry Levail Barnes (Irving, TX), and Tarrus Greer aka Papa Bugg; Children, Damarion Javon Rogan and Damya Jashae' Rogan; Five Sisters, Demitra Denise Gaston, Destiny Patrese Gaston (Lamar Easterly), Makayla Levai' Barnes (Irving, TX), NaDrica Sanders, and NaDriauna Sanders; Two Brothers, Marquentin Levail Barnes (Irving, TX) and Detrick Javon Wade (Michigan City, IN); Grandparents, Mary Bert Gaston, Tina Wade Surry (Las Vegas, NV), Larry Whitt, Patricia (Paul Rowe) (both of Irving, TX), Clem Calvin Farr (Annie Moorman), Patti Greer, and Pam Whitt; Godmother, Quaila Brooks, along with several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Dominique was preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, Mary M. and Bert Gaston Jr., Flora Lee and Joshua Wade; Grandparents, Ronald Grant and Wardell Lockett; Great Uncle, Samuel Gaston; Brothers, Marquan Levail Barnes and Marqualyne Denzel Farr.
