Dennis Leon Stephens

Dennis Leon Stephens was born July 4, 1954, and departed this life November 6, 2025.  He was born to the parents of Dicy J. Stephens-Turner and Dennis Woodson. 

Dennis served as veteran of the United States Army.

Celebrating his life are his children; Wanda Kelsaw, Yonne Waller, Vett Waller, Brandon Leon Stephens , Antonio Leon Stephens; six siblings, Priscilla J. (Willard) Brown of Fort Wayne, IN., Raymond (Julia) Turner, Jr. of Lithonia, GA, Robert L. (Mary D) Turner of Fort Wayne, IN., Andrane Jones of Indianapolis, IN., Michelle Fields (George) of Fort Wayne, IN., and Donna Woodson Gallatin, TN.; and a brother-in- law, Willie J. Olds of Richmond, VA.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. He also leaves to cherish his memories, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Dennis is preceded in death by his mother, Dicy J. Turner; father, Dennis Woodson; two sisters, Dr. Patricia J. Olds and Denise Woodson; two Brothers, Ronald Woodson and Layne Woodson, and a granddaughter, Cortazia Sanders.
