Deborah Kay Kelly was born November 4, 1955 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Nathaniel and Esther Giddens. She departed this life to be with the Lord on August 27, 2020. She accepted Christ in her life at a young age. She attended Elmhurst High School. She was a faithful member of Wings of Deliverance THC; where she was a greeter and an usher. She worked in health care for many years. Deborah was a lady of many talents but the one she excelled at was caring for others and her children. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and even take someone into her home.
Deborah loved and cherished her family. She was a loving and awesome mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was the mother of all mothers.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother; Esther Giddens, her daughters; Keona Giddens of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kelitra (Kenny) Auxier of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Khadijah Kelly of Indianapolis, Indiana, special children; Jalissa Sanders of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kalondra Ford and Nylan Henderson both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, her grandchildren; Jaynia, Zariah, Makayla, Isaiah, Jakhi, Akhia, Kyro and Edonis, her sisters Vera (Larry) Lockett of Texas, Nathania (Jimmy) Grigsby of Arkansas, and Shakira Giddens of Fort Wayne, Indiana, her brothers; Ira (Kandy) Giddens of Michigan, Terry (Sylvia) Giddens, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Timothy Giddens of Fort Wayne, Indiana, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father; Nathaniel Giddens, two brothers; Antonio Giddens and Reginald Giddens, a son; Shaquille Kelly, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
