Dawn Renee' (Martin) Townsend

Dawn Renee’ Townsend was born to Freddie and the late Trudy Martin on July 25, 1962, and departed this life on May 8, 2026.

Dawn graduated from Paul Harding HS and attended Ivy Tech Community College. For over 20 years, Dawn was employed at ITT Aerospace and for another 20 years at Crossroads. Dawn had a very outgoing personality and stood firm on what she believed in. Dawn loved to laugh and sing and was a pro at both.

Dawn married the love of her life, Isaac "Petey" Townsend, on March 4, 2015. Dawn adored her children and grandsons and loved attending her grandsons' sporting events. Dawn was loved by many family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Dawn leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Trashonda (Layne) Patterson; a son, Damarco Martin; father, Freddie Martin; three siblings, Tracey (Shawn) Lewter, Fredrico J. Martin, and Sonya Rencher; two grandsons, Layne Patterson and Jakim Rogers; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
